- These are called Wall Tappers. This simple-looking exercise isn’t so simple. After a push-up place, one hand on the wall followed by the other hand touching the wall. - So often we overemphasize exercises that work our anterior chain (the front side of our body) and neglect our posterior chain (the back side of our body) which can lead to imbalance and injury. I learned this the hard way a few weeks ago when I hurt my back. The posterior delts (back part of the shoulder) are a perfect example. This Y-Pull exercise on my Tonal is an awesome way to get after those neglected muscles.

- We call this move Speed Beam. The goal is to move down the pegboard as fast as you can, transfer to the I-beam on your fingertips to the yellow line, then back to the pegboard to finish. This was my Personal Best at just over 22 seconds. The record is held by Nathan Hunter & Scott Morgan at around 19 seconds. What was your Personal Best this week???

- This is called a Campus Board. Rock-climbers spend a ton of time on them. They come in all kinds of shapes, and configurations. The blue one at the top of the door is fingertips only. The one I’m playing on gives you all kinds of combinations. It’s an extremely fun way to strengthen your fingers, grip, forearms, and back. It’s a little bit scary too which adds to the fun

- One of the all time great dudes at Beachbody was Keith Queen. Before he got married and moved east he was a regular at the Horton house of Fitness. This move was his forte. So much so that we named it after him, and still do it all the time. Shoulders, chest, triceps, core, hip-flexors, balance and coordination are all in play with this move.
